Jayden Cardenas is a high-level grappler and serves as the Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling Coach at Warriors Nation MMA, bringing a rare combination of elite competition experience in both disciplines.
Jayden is the 2025 IBJJF No-Gi World Champion at purple belt, one of the most prestigious accomplishments in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at his level. The IBJJF World Championship is widely regarded as the pinnacle of competition in the sport, producing many of today’s top black belt athletes.
In addition to his success on the mats, Jayden has a strong wrestling pedigree, competing at a high level for Cortlandt University, where he developed a dominant grappling foundation built on control, pressure, and positional awareness.
His style blends the best of both worlds—high-level wrestling takedowns with modern No-Gi jiu jitsu, allowing him to dictate where the fight takes place and maintain control throughout every exchange.
In his classes, students learn how to:
- Develop strong takedown systems rooted in wrestling fundamentals
- Control and dominate from top position
- Transition seamlessly between positions
- Apply submissions with precision and timing in No-Gi scenarios
Jayden’s coaching style is technical, detail-oriented, and competition-driven, making his classes ideal for both beginners building a foundation and advanced students looking to compete at a high level.
As an active competitor and champion, he brings real, up-to-date techniques and intensity to every session—helping students elevate their grappling to a championship standard.
